5 Day Masai Mara Safari in Kenya

Your Driver-Guide will meet you at your hotel for the start of your safari, departing at 8:00 AM for a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley en route to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most renowned wildlife reserve. The journey takes approximately 5.5 hours in your private and exclusive 4x4 Land Cruiser Safari vehicle.

Today, you will enjoy two exciting game drives—one in the morning from 6:15 AM to 9:00 AM, before breakfast, and another in the afternoon from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, after lunch. Early mornings and late afternoons are the best times to witness wildlife at its most active.

Since your safari is private, your game drive schedule is flexible, making it ideal for families with children or couples on a honeymoon who may prefer a more relaxed start to the day. Alternatively, you can opt for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch, allowing you to explore deeper into the reserve at no extra cost.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Mara Sarova Game Camp.

At 3:30 PM, set off on an afternoon game drive, exploring the more remote areas of the park and encountering even more of the Mara’s diverse wildlife. Return to camp by 5:00 PM, just in time to unwind with tea or coffee as you take in the tranquil atmosphere.

After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape Buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Enjoy a hot lunch and drive to Lake Naivasha, you have an option to take a boat ride in this freshwater lake to go and see hippos and fish eagles at extra cost. Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel.
