Day 01 :

Addis Ababa – Jimma – Chebera Churchura National Park

Meet at the airport early in the morning for your scheduled flight from Addis Ababa to Jimma. On arrival, meet your driver and continue by four-wheel-drive vehicle towards Chebera Churchura National Park, approximately 120 kilometres away along a gravel road.

Discover a protected wilderness area known for its diverse habitats, including riverine forests, savannah, bushland, wetlands and small crater lakes. The park supports African elephants, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, lions, leopards and numerous bird species.

Arrive at Chebera Safari Lodge, settle into your accommodation and enjoy the surrounding natural environment.

Day 02 :

Wildlife Exploration in the Park

Begin the day with an early excursion to Shoshuma, one of the park’s wildlife-viewing areas. Search for herds of African elephants moving through their natural habitat and look out for other wildlife along the way.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax. Later, head towards Lake Bulo, where you may spot hippopotamuses and Cape buffalo near the water. Enjoy the scenery and continue observing the park’s rich wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Chebera Churchura – Jimma – Addis Ababa
